a prospect, simply say this:
“I got a good story. Takes about two minutes.
Might make you a lot of money, might not.
Want to hear it?”
Almost 100% of the people you talk to will want to hear
your two-minute story. I love this sentence, and it has
made me a fortune.
Why does this sentence work?
1. Everyone wants to hear a good story.
2. If it is only two minutes, it is safe
for them to listen to the story.
So what do you do next?
Well, just give them a quick one minute presentation
and then if they are interested, you can talk longer.
So try using:
“I got a good story. Takes about two minutes.
Might make you a lot of money, might not.
Want to hear it?”
And watch your prospects’ eyes light up while they lean
forward, eagerly awaiting your story.
“Have you found the opportunity that will take care
of you and your family for the rest of your life?”
Clerk:
“Uh, I didn’t even know there were such opportunities.”
Jim Rohn:
“Well, then I have to ask you another question. How
much time to you spend each week looking for it?”
Clerk:
“I didn’t even know I should be looking.”
Jim Rohn:
“Well, when you decide to start looking, here is my
card, give me a call.”
Please notice there are two things happening here.
#1. You create an instant prospect.
#2. You upgraded your prospect from an ordinary
prospect who would have just wanted to earn
a part-time income … to a potential leader
who wanted to create a lifetime opportunity.
Neat, eh?
So what do you do next?
You could set an appointment to talk to them later.
You could send them to a website, give them your
business card, invite them on a tele-conference,
loan them a DVD … lots of options.
Or, just give them your “One-Minute Presentation” -
and then if they are interested, you can talk longer.
So try using:
“Have you found the opportunity that will take care
of you and your family for the rest of your life?”
And watch your prospects’ eyes light up while they
dream of a new life without being shackled to a job.

Therefore, starting a business is like asking a person to venture into an unknown world. After reading a lot of information, the secret of successful businessmen is –Thinking BIG. People are afraid of making mistakes. When I advise people not to be afraid, they often give me the grin on their voice. If you are in a job today and you make mistakes, the only outcome from it is that you learn something new.
So, start of by setting a goal. Set a target on what you want to achieve. Maybe you want to make a 5-figure income? Write that specific figure down. Is it $10,000 per month or $50,000 per month? The way you set your mind to it will attract individuals around you and these people may turn out to be the ones to help you succeed.
Many people search ways to make money online but they have a mindset that already think that it is impossible to make money online. But, they still go on searching for opportunities online. This is where a clash occurs between your action and your mind. As long as you don’t believe, you will not make it.
If you ask any successful men out there and tell them you want to earn $10,000 per month. They will smile at you and congratulate you on your goals. On the other hand, if you say the same thing in front of your colleagues, they will probably laugh at you and tell you to stop dreaming.
At the end of the day, would you rather listen to a millionaire or to a colleague who is earning the same amount as you do? Think about it.
